• At least 18 years of age?

• Currently living in Canada?

• Able to read, write, and understand English or French?

• Currently not receiving psychological treatment for health anxiety?

• Not currently having a serious physical illness such as cancer, heart disease, or dementia?

• Not having current psychosis, suicidal behavior/ideation, severe depression, substance use disorder, and/or bipolar disorder?

To develop and test the effectiveness of the 90SecondHealth Anxiety health letter and THIS WAY UP iCBT in improving health anxiety. 

• You will be selected by chance to one of the three groups;

  • • One group will be sent 2 health letters per week, via email for 13 weeks. 

    • The second group will receive access to the THIS WAY UP iCBT program. 

    • The third group will not receive either of the interventions.

• You will be asked to complete three 20-minute online questionnaires;

  • •  The first questionnaire at baseline (at the beginning of the study)

    • The second questionnaire after the 13 weeks of intervention

    • The third questionnaire at the one month follow-up (at the end of the study)

• You will receive a $60 gift card after completing all surveys in the study.
